Top Albums of April

Well, it’s getting to be that warm time of year again.  We all know what that means.  Camping.  Kayaking.  Mudding.  Fishing.  Golf.  All the outdoor stuff.  Gonna be an exciting summer.  Tomorrow my Dad and I will pick up the second 4Runner of the family.  Only 2 more, and everybody can have one lol.

Here are some albums I thought were significant this April -

Fractals - Paradox

After listening to this album, you’ll feel like an hour has passed by.  Clocking in at only 31 min thought, Paradox is a breathe of fresh air to the deathcore genre.  Haven’t listened to deathcore for a long time.

Heart in Hand - Only Memories

Reminds me of The Ghost Inside mixed with The Amity Affliction.  All good stuff.  A breath of fresh air in the melodic hardcore genre.

Structures - Divided By

This is a pretty good album.  Punk/Deathcore combo.  Strange, yet it works.

Silverstein - Short Songs

Pretty nifty group of tunes here.  Silverstein has been around the block multiple times. This is just another great album to add to their armory.

The Script - Science & Faith

I feel pretty stupid missing an album like this back in 2010.  It’s like Coldplay, only with better lyrics and better musicianship throughout.  Fantastic album.  By far April’s best.
